We collect your data when you fill out a request for a quote, and fill in customer account information. We only collect what you enter.

What do we do with the data that we collect

Any information collected is knowingly provided by you and only when requested/required. This includes information provided on the quote inquiry and customer account forms to create customer accounts, create quotes for requested work, email the requested quote, email job confirmation, communicate via email regarding the job and/or billing.

CAD/Other Drawings

Uploaded files are securely transferred to cloud storage where they are encrypted and stored.

If you upload CAD models, drawing files, or other technical data, Total Metrology LLC will only use them for reference purposes related to the requested services, including but not limited to product development, CMM inspection, CMM  programming, or CMM fixture design. These drawings will be accessible only by Total Metrology LLC and used solely for the intended purposes as set forth by you the customer at the time of service request.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for the session, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

How long we retain your data

We retain your data for as long as needed in regards to you being a current and active customer. After one year of inactivity, your customer account and data will be deleted.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes will likely be minor in nature, Total Metrology LLC may change it’s privacy policy at their sole discretion. It is the customers responsibility to check the Privacy Policy from time to time to check for any changes. Any use of this site after changes are made, constitute acceptance of said changes.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
